P-211 S T O N E - P O L I S H liquid
Abridged directions:
Measure the moisture content (<2,0 %) of the substrate!
1.) Apply a very thin coat of Stone Polish using the Z-855 brush or a cotton cloth.
2.) Polish to high gloss with a lambskin.
Description of material :
P-211 Stone Polish produces a colour-intensive high polished film on the stone protecting it from stains and high mechanical abrasion. It also makes rough stone surfaces easy to clean. Check when using outside that no moisture is present underneath the surface to be treated, as this may cause the Stone Polish to peel off.
Contents :
Resins diluted in hydrocarbons.
Conditions for use :
The surfaces must be dry (< 2,0 %).
The joints must be filled in.
Since construction dirt is mostly found on natural stone surfaces, the latter need to be cleaned with R-255 Basic Cleaner, in order to open the pores of the stone and remove any dirt.
The Stone Polish can be applied as soon as the surfaces are completely dry (approx. 2 days after cleaning).
Natural stone surfaces should not be warm or the Stone Polish will dry too rapidly and not be uniformly distributed as a result.
Application :
Use a gas mask with a solvent filter in closed premises.
Apply the Stone Polish with a cloth or pour it in strips onto the surface using a watering can and distribute in a very thin and even layer with a large brush (Z-855 Brush).
Do not walk on the surface during drying time.
After approx. 15 minutes the surface may be repolished.
Technical data :
GGVS: cl 3.31 C
Inflammable according the VbF AI standards.
Application temperature: > +5°C
Dry storage: +5°C minimum.
Data after curing :
Physiologically harmless after the solvents have dried.
Defects after application:
If the natural stone surfaces have dark spots or striped areas after the treatment
1.) either the surfaces were not dry before treatment !
2.) or the Stone Polish was not applied evenly !
Indications :
Adding P-224 Stone Care to the washing water will help ensure correct maintenance of the polished area and could make further treatment unnecessary.
Safety in the work place : environmental protection :
The product contains solvents that cause temporary dizziness if inhaled, which is why a gas mask should be used in closed premises.
Small residual quantities should be left in the tin to dry up completely; the resulting solids can then be disposed of along with the household refuse. The tins should be taken to recycling units.
The treated surfaces are physiologically harmless after the solvents have dried.
Storage stability: Coverage: Drying time :
approx. 3 years approx. 40 g/m² approx. 10 minutes
Our directions for use are only general recommendations to be checked on site for each specific use.
