Brief instructions :                                   01.01.10
Turn off the floor heating the day before treatment.
Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
Measure the moisture content.
1.) Apply the Stone Sealer in a thin layer using the Z-855 brush.
2.) Allow to dry approx. 2-3 hours.
3.) Then apply the Stone Sealer a second time.

Features :
V-235 Stone Sealer produces a low gloss film on the stone which deepens the colour and protects it from stains and heavy weights. It also makes rough stone surfaces easy to clean. The Stone Sealer does not adhere to polished surfaces. Check when using outside that no moisture is present underneath the surface to be treated, as this may cause the Stone Sealer to peel off.

Conditions for use :
The surfaces must be dry (<2,0 %).
The joints must be filled in.
Since construction dirt is mainly found on natural stone surfaces, the latter need to be cleaned before sealing with R-255 Basic Cleaner, in order to open the pores of the stone and remove any dirt. Sealing can be carried out as soon as the surfaces are completely dry (approx. 2 days after cleaning).
Natural stone surfaces should not be warm or the sealing product will dry too rapidly and not be uniformly distributed as a result.

Application :
Use a gas mask with a solvent filter in closed premises. Apply the Stone Sealer using a watering can and distribute in a thin, even layer with a large brush (Z-855 Brush).
We recommend applying a second coat to rough surfaces after approx. 3 hours' drying time (depending on the weather conditions) due to the irregular absorption capacity of the stone.

Data after curing :
Water vapour diffusion capacity of the stone approx. 55 %.
Physiologically harmless after the solvents have dried.

Defects after application :
If the natural stone surfaces have dark spots or striped areas after sealing
1.) either the surfaces were not sufficiently dry before treatment
2.) or the sealing product was not applied evenly!

Indications :
Adding P-224 Stone Care to the washing water will help ensure correct maintenance of the sealed area and could make further treatment unnecessary.

Safety in the work place :     environmental protection :
The product contains solvents that cause temporary dizziness if inhaled, which is why a gas mask should be used in closed premises.
Small residual quantities should be left in the tin to dry up completely; the resulting solids can then be disposed of along with the household refuse. The tins should be taken to recycling units.
The treated surfaces are physiologically harmless after the solvents have dried which means that the product can be used to treat kitchen table-tops, for example.
